As a student in architecture and engineering I have no fixed approach. In each project I discover new perspectives on ways to developing my approach. Similar to a sculptors process of breaking down large parts of stone to eventually refining details, an endless process.
My greatest inspiration: There's nowhere I'd rather be than nestled among the water lilies in the Victoria greenhouse by Sybold Ravenstein, where nature communicates with me silently, and the architecture shields me from the outside world. This seamless harmony between nature and architecture has been a source of inspiration for me since my early childhood.
At the moment of writing, my approach involves developing a substantiated vision through an endless cycle of in-depth research, intentional research, developing a holistic program, sketching and designing. In applying this method, I believe by not strictly adhering to a rigid sequence of these steps, I cultivate a humanistic sense in my work. This method enables me to create designs that prioritize maximum functionality while allowing their inherent aesthetics to naturally emerge, all while maintaining a humanistic perspective.
